Building a Georgia where work WORKS for everyone!

When we strengthen workers, small businesses, and access to opportunity, we strengthen Georgia.

Nikki Porcher is a veteran, educator, and community advocate who has spent her life helping Georgians build stability through work.

From serving in the U.S. Air Force and teaching in Georgia’s public schools, to leading a national nonprofit that has supported hundreds of small businesses across the country, she has seen what happens when people have access to opportunities and the challenges they face when they don’t.

Now, Nikki is running for Labor Commissioner to ensure that Georgia’s Department of Labor truly works for everyone — workers, job seekers, and small business owners alike.

A Georgia Where Work Works for Everyone!

These are the priorities that guide Nikki’s campaign for Georgia Labor Commissioner.

Accessible Affordable Child Care

Nikki believes access to quality, affordable child care is essential to a strong workforce. As Labor Commissioner, she’ll fight to make sure Georgia’s workforce policies support working parents and small businesses alike.

Workforce Development That Works

By partnering with schools, unions, and employers, Nikki will help Georgians gain the skills they need for real jobs with fair pay and long-term stability.

Small Businesses as Job Creators

Small businesses keep Georgia’s economy strong. Nikki will champion them as key drivers of workforce growth and local opportunity.

Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces

Every worker deserves to be treated with respect, paid fairly, and protected on the job. Nikki will make that a core standard for the Department of Labor.

Access That Reaches People

Nikki will modernize the Department of Labor so every Georgian can access the benefits, training, and job support they need, no matter their zip code, language, or circumstance. Under her leadership, the department will meet people where they are and make it easier for every worker and every family to get ahead.
